THE ONE SOCK HACK
“Okay, this might sound absolutely insane, but it works.
If you’re one of those people who sleeps hot — like you're waking up at 3 AM sweating like you just fled a crime scene — try this:
Put ONE clean sock in the freezer. Just one.
Not the pair.
Not two.
One sock.
Then when you go to bed, you put the cold sock on the foot that sticks out of the blankets.
Something about that one cold foot tells your body,
‘Oh, the temperature is dropping… time to sleep.’
I know, it sounds like witchcraft.
But people swear it works.
So tonight… throw a sock in next to the frozen waffles.
Your spouse is gonna be like, ‘Are you okay?’
Just say:
‘I’m optimizing my sleep science.’
And then watch how fast you pass out.”**
