It has been a long season for Geno Smith as he inherited the Seahawks post Russell Wilson era. A lot of critics claimed Geno wasn't ready to take the reigns of the Seahawks as starting quarterback and even now after an incredible first season leading the team, Geno is left fighting for the position.

It hasn't taken away from his stardom he's shown over the last season, despite missing the playoffs after losing to the Niners in the wildcard round. Geno has been named one of the NFL's finalist for the AP Comeback Player of the Year. Definitely earned and super excited to see what Geno brings to the Hawks next year!

You can check out all of the winners HERE. The award show will be February 9th at 3p PST.
