A new survey suggests that Mississippi is among the worst states in which to be a police officer. The personal finance website WalletHub looked at factors like pay, resources and the likelihood of being killed in the line of duty and ranked the state 32nd. But we fared better than our neighboring states. Alabama was 39th, Tennessee 43rd, Louisiana was next-to-last and Arkansas dead last among the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The top-rated state: North Dakota.
