Beyoncé has allowed Kamala Harris to use her music while the vice president embarks on her presidential campaign trail.

Vice President Harris made her first formal appearance at her campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware on Monday night, July 22. While she approached the podium, Beyoncé's "Freedom" blared through the speakers. According to CNN, the Grammy award-winning singer gave Harris' team "quick approval" to use the song from her 2016 Lemonade album during the VP's presidential campaign just hours before the event. Beyoncé hasn't officially endorsed Harris for president, however, it's clear she has the singer's support.

Vice President Kamala Harris has already received plenty of support from Democratic leaders and various celebrities from John Legend to Ariana Grande. While Beyoncé has yet to voice her support for a presidential candidate, her mother Tina Knowles did on social media.

“New, Youthful, Sharp , , energy !!!!” Knowles wrote under a photo of herself with VP Harris on Instagram. “Putting personal Ego , power and fame aside . That is the definition of a great leader, . Thank you, President Biden for your service and your leadership . Go Vice President Kamala Harris for President. Let’s Go”

There's no word on when Beyoncé will weigh in on the presidential election. However, she has a record of endorsing Democratic candidates. In previous election cycles, the "Texas Hold 'Em" singer performed in support of former President Barack Obama in 2013 and held a pre-election concert for Hillary Clinton in 2016.
