Neon Carnival Announces 10-Year Anniversary Event, Expands To Stagecoach

In less than a month, thousands will flock to Palm Springs for Coachella 2019 and the music festival's unofficial side-party, Neon Carnival, has announced the details surrounding this year's affair, which will kick off on Saturday (April 13) in celebration of its 10-year anniversary.

In partnership with Levi's Brand, Bondi Sands and the upcoming Pokémon Detective Pikachu film, LA's original nightlife maven, Brent Bolthouse, and partner, Jeffrey Best, are set to bring the biggest outdoor dance party back to HITS Desert Park as a counterpart to the annual music affair. For the 2019 installment, the folks behind the production have also announced that Neon Carnival will extend its reigns over Palm Springs for its inaugural debut at Stagecoach, the desert's must-see country music fest on April 27.

"As we head towards this major milestone in Neon Carnival’s history, we’re ecstatic to celebrate our 10-year anniversary hosting one of the hottest parties in the desert amid music’s biggest festival weekend. To mark this momentous occasion, we’ve decided to expand Neon Carnival to weekend 3, during country music’s largest desert weekend in Southern California," Brent Bolthouse said in a statement. "We've partnered with the acclaimed country music marketing team Boots on Stage, led by Ricky Abramson, to cultivate a unique experience creating new memories during this year’s festivities. We’ve added renowned country music DJ, Dee Jay Silver along with Kayper and Ruckus to round out the evening and keep those boots dancing all night long."

As Neon Carnival does every year, the extravaganza is expected to bring all kinds of stars, as well as a string of carnival style games and amusement park thrills. Among some of the 2019 festivities include a Bondi Sands-branded bumper car installation and photo booth. Meanwhile, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures will allow attendees to ride on an electrifying Pokémon Detective Pikachu-themed ferris wheel and offer a chance to catch a photo opp with the animated character. DJs Kayper and DJ Ruckus will provide the tune for the evening, while a special guest performer will help attendees dance into the early morning hours.
